The Model X Combination Kit consists of three separate instruments: the PET 2000 for determining the activity (in g of salt) in the soil, the AGRAR 2000 for determining the pH of the soil or liquid and the EC 2000 for determining the conductivity of the liquid.

The PET 2000 can be used to determine the activity or mineralization in g salt / l in the soil or substrate. The activity of salts is determined by the amount of dissolved salts in the soil. Their mobility depends on soil moisture, temperature and density.

Thus, it is possible to determine the content of nutrient salts available to the plant, such as nitrates or potassium in their totality. This measuring principle makes it possible to quickly get an overview of the nutrient supply of plants in the root zone.

In addition, an AGRAR 2000 pH is included to control the pH value. Processor-controlled allows quick and accurate measurements in solutions such as irrigation water or fertilizer solutions.

The presence of glass penetrating the pH electrode provides the ability to determine pH directly in the soil or substrate. The device has automatic calibration.

The composition of this trio complements the EC 2000 conductometer. The SEC value plays a decisive role in fertilization, soilless crops, closed systems, hydroponics, or salt-sensitive crops.

The EC 2000 has a measuring range of up to 200 mS / cm and is therefore suitable for monitoring mother liquors. The device has temperature compensation and is equipped with a special conductometric electrode with built-in temperature sensor.
